About Us

The service was inaugurated in 1964 by the Reverend Ken and Mrs. Sheila Stevens, with the support of the congregation of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. It began by serving five clients for three days a week at a charge of two shillings (20¢) for each meal. The meals were cooked and delivered by members of the congregation. The service has grown since these early days and we now prepare and deliver over 6,300 meals each month with a charge of $7.00 per meal.

Daily Delivery
Meals are delivered Monday to Friday, including all public holidays. As there is no menu selection, our chef prepares a different meal each day over a 4-week period.

Weekend Needs
Frozen meals or salads are available to cover your weekend needs and will be delivered on Fridays. Frozen meals need to be stored in the FREEZER, unless being eaten the next day in which case, defrost in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

As a food service organisation, we have a duty of care that you receive a nutritious meal delivered within set temperature requirements. Due to these requirements, we have to personally deliver the meal to the client. We are unable to leave meals unattended or in eskies.
